Our Estate Litigation group based in our Coffs Harbour office now seeks a 3 rd Year Lawyer/Associate to join the team on a full time basis. Your exceptional attention to detail, energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes in this role.

THE ROLE

You will demonstrate a strong sense of initiative, ownership and an ability to manage a busy work load.

To be considered for this position, it is critical that you possess the following:
  • Ideally some previous experience (3+ Yrs PAE) in Estate Litigation;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to tasks;
  • Experience supervising the work of others;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships;
  • Court experience;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team;
  • Strong oral communication and written/drafting skills; and
  • Ability to listen to and empathise with a wide range of clients.
  • Ability to travel to Sydney overnight for periods of time.

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that candidates are able to demonstrate:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law with a current NSW Practicing Certificate;
  • Relevant experience within the practice jurisdiction;
  • Previous management experience with the ability to perform in a senior management role;
  • Track record of achieving great outcomes for clients;
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting set objectives and business targets;
  • Strong business acumen;
  • Strong financial and numerical understanding;
  • They are a self-starter, energetic and collaborative with an ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic fast-moving environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation and on a variety of issues;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and nurture staff to ensure individuals and teams maximise their potential;
  • Ability to function as part of an executive management team;
  • Excellence in stakeholder management.
