Our client is a world class software company that designs, develops and implements cloud-based Learning and Assessment Systems for clients all over the world.
They build close partnerships with their clients, and work with them to understand how their product makes a difference to their business.
Due to high demand for their systems they are looking to engage a Product Owner with a flair for UX for an initial six month contract.
The successful candidate will ensure that the product develops in a direction that is consistent with the company goals.
They utilise the agile scrum methodology to develop world class software and the Product Owner plays a vital part in this.
Location would be Sydney CBD, Gold Coast, North Coast of NSW, or Auckland.
You will be responsible for conducting client workshops, communicating client requirements to the developers and the QA team, and using your advanced business analysis and software design skills to develop specifications that clients love and developers can build efficiently.
Furthermore, Product Owners are responsible for ensuring that the client receives an outcome that meets their needs and generates good will.
The Product Owner is the key conduit between the client and the scrum teams.
They are responsible for product features from concept to launch and for communicating that vision to the scrum team.
We're looking for:
Experience as a product manager, product owner or business analyst developing, managing and launching modern web applications
Someone who can own issues and overcome obstacles to achieve great outcomes
Expertise with Agile scrum methodology
Ability to improve the user experience of the product in an intuitive and attractive manner
Ability to quickly acquire broad and deep knowledge of a range of products
Experience analysing business requirements and translating into functional requirements
Ability to identify key issues and systematically prioritise
Experience with functional testing to ensure development outcomes meet the specified requirements
Demonstrated experience in building client confidence and maintaining ongoing constructive client relationships
Strong problem solving capability
Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills
