Level 1 - To be eligible to apply for this position, the applicant must be a current permanent employee of Coffs Harbour City Council

Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of HR Information and Talent Coordinator. Reporting to the Group Leader Organisational Development, the primary objectives of this position will be to provide support to the leadership of Coffs Harbour City Council in establishing a high performance organisation through;
  • the management and reporting of Human Resource Information;

  • enabling effective Human Resource Information Management across Council by leading the optimal use of related software and processes;

  • driving business process improvement through the design and continuous improvement of metrics, reporting processes, HR analytical solutions and quality standards;

  • the development and implementation of Council's Strategic Workforce Management Strategy and Council-wide talent strategies and the coordinated delivery of the Operational Workforce Management action plan;

  • development and management of Council-wide talent processes including managing the succession planning and review process;

  • developing talent strategies to address critical skill gaps and facilitating the identification and management of high potential employees;

  • ensuring that accurate HR data is captured in Council's HRIS;

  • analysis and regular reporting of HR data to identify important trends that are presented in a clear, concise, and business-relevant manner to key stakeholders.

Starting salary of $78 265.82 (Grade A25) pa + Super and other conditions of employment as per the NSW Local Government (State) Award 2014.

Additional Requirements: The successful applicant may be required to undertake Pre Employment Medical Screening and Pre Employment Alcohol & Drug Testing
