Support Workers are supported by Southern Cross’ skilled Service and Admin team.

School Disability Support Worker


Coffs Harbour, NSW


Southern Cross is seeking motivated, caring and committed individuals as School Disability Support Workers for the delivery of disability support services to a 11 year old boy who is attending school.

This support enables the child with a disability to attend school and continue their education by providing a service that will enable them to participate in the school curriculum.

A range of flexible duties are available.

Duties may include:
  • Assistance with School activities
  •  Assistance with respiratory management
  •  Assistance with personal care tasks
  •  Medication administration
  •  Assistance with therapy tasks
  •  Use of mobility equipment – eg. hoist, wheelchair, shower chair
  •  Socialisation support

  • As part of the application process, all successful applicants must receive a National Criminal History Clearance and need to obtain a Working with Children Clearance to commence working as a Support Worker.
